Itinerary Day 1  Travel from Entebbe town to Kibale forest, travel though the masaka mbarara highway and then connect to the kibale road and then to the forest and rest at the lodge. Along the way you will stop at the equator for an experiment about the poles and then transfer to igongo culture center and museum where you will have a hike to the top at the eclipse monument. We shall be thrilled by the kingdom history this place holds. It’s at igongo that we shall have our hot lunch before embanking onto our journey again.  Day 2  Wake up for a hot coffee before heading to the briefing point of the forest where you will be allocated a group to move in as you track the chimps. Kibale is home for about 14 primate species like the Red colobus monkey, Blue monkey, Black and white Colobus monkey, vervet monkey, several forest species of birds like Green breasted Pitta, Cassin’s spinetail, Blue-headed bee-eater, Nahan’s Francolin, Masked Apalis and much more. Day 3  Wake up to an amazing breakfast and then transfer to bwindi impenetrable national park inhabiting over 300 individual mountain gorillas. Along the way you will experience a transition in the different vegetation zones of the hills around the area and the scenic corners on the roads. Day 4  Awaken to a hot breakfast before going for a brefing and tracking in Uganda’s thick forest that inhabits over 400 world’s critically endangered estimate of mountain gorillas, this is half the world’s gorilla population. While in the forest you stand chances of seeing mammals like the common chimpanzee, L’hoest’s monkey, African forest Elephant, bird species like the Short-tailed Warbler, African green broadbill, Cream-banded swallowtail, Grauer’s Warbler, Montane Oriole, Kivu-ground Thrush, Chapin’s Flycatcher, Chestnut-throated Apalis and more. You will then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a night besides the second deepest lake in Africa.
